Since their inception, Incoterms have been periodically revised and updated to keep them relevant and to adapt them to changes in international trade.<\/p>\n<p>The Incoterms are now arranged in two categories as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Rules for Any Mode of Transport:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li>EXW &#8211; Ex Works<\/li>\n<li>FCA &#8211; Free Carrier<\/li>\n<li>CPT &#8211; Carriage Paid To<\/li>\n<li>CIP &#8211; Carriage and Insurance Paid<\/li>\n<li>DAP &#8211; Delivered At Place<\/li>\n<li>DPU \u2013 Delivered at Place Unloaded<\/li>\n<li>DDP &#8211; Delivered Duty Paid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rules for Sea and Inland Waterway Transport Only:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FAS &#8211; Free Alongside Ship<\/li>\n<li>FOB &#8211; Free On Board<\/li>\n<li>CFR &#8211; Cost and Freight<\/li>\n<li>CIF &#8211; Cost, Insurance and Freight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1499\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aaacargo.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Incoterms-2020-EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"434\" \/><\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 74.9046%;\" border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 17.5926%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"92\"><strong>EXW<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ex Works<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 98.6813%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"501\">The seller makes the goods available to the buyer in their own warehouse and is only responsible for packing the goods.<br \/>\nThe buyer bears all of the costs (including customs clearance and delivery) and responsibilities from the moment the goods cross the warehouse prior to loading.<br \/>\nRisks: at the time of transfer of goods at the seller&#8217;s warehouse.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 17.5926%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"92\"><strong>FCA<br \/>\n<\/strong>Free Carrier<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 98.6813%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"501\">The seller bears the costs and risks up to delivery by a carrier nominated by the buyer, including the cost of export clearance.<br \/>\nThe buyer bears the costs from loading on board to unloading, including the cost of import clearance.<br \/>\nRisks: at the moment of transfer goods from the seller to the carrier.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 17.5926%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"92\"><strong>CPT<br \/>\n<\/strong>Carriage<br \/>\nPaid To<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 98.6813%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"501\">The seller delivers the goods and bears the costs until the goods are delivered to an agreed place, i.e., they are responsible for all of the costs at origin, export clearance, the main transport and usually costs at destination.<br \/>\nThe buyer unloades the goods and is responsible for import procedures and formalities.<br \/>\nRisks: at the moment of transfer goods from the seller to the carrier.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 17.5926%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"92\"><strong>CIP<br \/>\n<\/strong>Carriage<br \/>\n&amp;
